St Greg’s relies on the goodwill of many people and in particular local businesses. Our friends come in many guises and from many walks of life; our wonderful shopkeepers for instance, always welcoming with a smile and a bargain for often-meagre event budgets. Sponsors who help us time and time again, year after year, always with a “happy to help the school”. Our raffle prize donors, many of whom are perennial benefactors, all happy to see the school benefit.
Cicero said, “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others” As a school we instil from day one the importance of saying thank you. To show gratitude is not just courteous it is incredibly powerful, it shows humanity at its very best. Rewarding the recipient for their undoubted goodwill is enough to sustain them and you for the entire day, it lifts everyone.
This page is to exhibit in a small way heartfelt gratitude to those who have shown goodwill to the school, please consider them when looking for a service or goods.
Cicero had it spot on when he said “Life is nothing without friendship”
