LATEST NEWS!

Welcome back everyone.

Wild world heroes reading challenge concludes 18/09, make sure you’ve completed it to get your certificate!

Please do not park on the bus stop outside of the school thanks.

Things can get better. Saying #HelloYellow this World Mental Health Day is a little thing we can do to make a BIG difference to young people’s mental health.

Join us in celebrating the little things we can do to look after ourselves and support each other’s mental health.

Together, let’s rally your friends, family and colleagues to wear yellow and donate to YoungMinds on 8 October.

St Greg’s has it’s own just giving page for donations: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/stgregorysmarnhull

Parents, carers and the wider community are warmly welcomed to school to understand why St Greg’s is hugely focused on reading.

A Welcome from Mrs Field our Head Teacher:

On behalf of the staff, governors, and children, welcome to our school website.

Here you will find everything you need, whether you have children at the school already, whether you are a pupil or maybe you are considering joining us at St Greg’s.

Please browse the site, our parent zone has a wealth of information; discover term dates, newsletters, details of our school meals, and be sure to check out our vibrant PTFA’s page!

Our class pages are well worth a browse, you will discover what our wonderful children are up to and why we are so immensely proud of them.

St Greg’s is here for all to see, this website is a means of lifting the roof of the school and letting you peer in.  You will see our classrooms, our swimming pool and much more besides.  We have easily accessible information on safeguarding, pupil & sports premium, and other policies.  You can even explore some of our history which dates to 1874!

You will find St Greg’s is a place of fun, laughter and of course learning.  We want all our children to achieve, to be the absolute best they can be. We set about this by recognising that each child is uniquely different – each possessing different skills and abilities. Nurturing these talents is our mission, together we achieve great things.

Our learning has no limits!

We have pride in our Christian beliefs, the school values are courage, thankfulness, respect, forgiveness, honesty & friendship.  These are not just words, each term we invoke at least one of these into various facets of our learning.

The success of a school is down to its team, that consists not only of the staff, but of the children themselves, governors, parents, and carers.  For it is only by working together that our children grow into confident, mature, and articulate young people who are ready for the next step in their education.

St Greg’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The designated persons for Child Protection are Mrs Debbie Field & Mrs Kelly Barge.  You can discover more on our safeguarding here

Children receive house points for good learning, behaviour and displaying our school values:

Courage, Thankfulness, Respect, Forgiveness, Honesty & Friendship.
